Learn basic bird ID

A four-session birding workshop sponsored by HSV Audubon Society and led by Vic Prislipsky will be held at the Coronado Center on four Tuesday mornings in March. 

March 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, 2020
(one extra day reserved in case of weather)

The workshops begin at 8:30 and end around 11:30.  The Workshop combines classroom presentations and outside fieldwork depending on the weather.

The workshops cover a variety of topics. 

Basic bird identification skills are the main focus but other topics are covered, such as, selecting and using binoculars, print and online resources and managing your backyard feeders.

Participants are asked to bring binoculars and Field Guides if they have them. 

The fee for this popular four-session event is $25 for HSV Audubon members and $30 for non-members. Class size is limited. Demand exceeded capacity last year. Members have first priority if they register before February 1.
