How to become a bluebird monitor

Our flagship program, to restore and protect the Eastern Bluebird, is in need of volunteers.

During the spring and summer, bluebird monitors check the nest boxes and report their findings weekly. With over 300 nest boxes on nine golf courses, we need 40 volunteers to get the job done.

Many volunteers come back year after year, and have told us how much they enjoy watching the progress of the nesting birds.

We hope you will consider becoming a bluebird monitor. It's a rewarding outdoor activity that dose not take much time, but gives a great payback from our feathered friends.

News flash: You do not have to be a member of HSV Audubon to participate!
