Virginia McDaniel combined her knowledge, field experience and high-energy to tell us about “Using Fire and Thinning to Restore Woodlands on the Ouachita National Forest”. This will include a look back on the historic landscape and a delve into the native plants that benefit from fire.

Virginia is Forest Technician/Ecological Society of America Certified Ecologist, Ecology and Management of Southern Pines-4159 Forest Service, Southern Regional Station.
