Birding Workshop

By Vic Prislipsky

HSV Audubon again is offering our Birding Workshop, led by Vic Prislipsky. There will be a series of four workshops, on the first four Wednesdays in March, at the Coronado Center from 8:30 to about 11.

MARCH 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, 2022
(one extra day in case of weather)

We'll spend the first part of each session in the classroom and, weather permitting, finish the morning with some actual birding.

The workshops begin with basics such as binoculars, bird guides/apps, and our Village bird checklist. The middle sessions address identifying birds and discussion about the birds you might find in the Village. The main focus of the last session is everything you need to know about bird feeders.

We ask that participants bring their binoculars and whatever bird guide they have. Feel free to bring water bottles/coffee mugs. Masks will not be available but masking is required for the classroom sessions.

Early registration is limited to HSV Audubon members and their families until February 1. Participation will then be open to non-members. Registration may be limited so be sure to register early.

The fee for this popular four-session event is $40 for HSV Audubon members and $50 for non-members. Class size is limited. Demand usually exceeds capacity. Members are given first priority if they register before February 1.

CLASS SIZE IS LIMITED SO DON'T WAIT TOO LONG.

You can register and pay for the class by credit card here!
