Bio: Rusty Scarborough
I was born in Armenia, grew up in California, and moved to Philadelphia in 2010 to attend Drexel University. I have always loved nature and the outdoors, and it became my passion to study birds in the wild - particularly those that are endangered or imperiled. I began working as a seasonal avian field assistant while I was still in college. After graduating with a degree in Biology, I continued to travel and work temporary field jobs for a few more years. I have enjoyed all of my jobs, but my favorites include working with Scarlet Macaws in Mexico, seabirds in Maine, and honeycreepers in Hawaii. I moved to Russellville to begin grad school at Arkansas Tech and my thesis is on the winter ecology of Rusty Blackbirds.
