Visitors and guests are always welcome!
Birds are in decline across North America, and wildlife biologist Drew Harvey will discuss why when he speaks to HSV Audubon Thursday, Sept. 14, 10 a.m., at the Coronado Center.
Harvey lives in Magnolia, Arkansas, but says he has close ties to Texas. “I was born and spent my childhood barefootin’ it where the coastal prairies get kissed by the Columbia Bottomlands.”
He has a degree in wildlife biology from Texas State University at San Marcos, and currently works for the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage and Tourism as a park specialist. Before arriving in Arkansas, he worked as a field biologist and eco-tour leader in locations across the United States; his work has mostly involved birds or bird habitat.
The program is free and open to the open.
