Honey Princess is Guest Speaker for February
Join American Honey Princess Virginia Allen for a presentation about America’s angels in agriculture – the honeybee. She will provide a fascinating glimpse into the inner workings of a beehive, beekeeping in the United States, the products and services received by honeybees, and how consumers can aid in the protection of honeybees nationwide.
Virginia is the daughter of David and Mary-Ann Allen of Richardson Texas. She is a student at the University of Mary Hardin Baylor studying organizational leadership. Virginia has been keeping bees with her family since 2014 and previously served as the 2020 Texas Honey Queen.
As the 2021 American Honey Princess, Virginia serves as a national spokesperson on behalf of the American Beekeeping Federation, a trade organization representing beekeepers and honey producers throughout the United States. The American Honey Queen and Princess speak and promote in venues nationwide, and, as such Princess Virginia will travel and speak throughout the United States in 2021.
