CANCELLED DUE TO WEATHER

Join Vic P. at Magness Lake this coming Saturday. 1/15, at 10:00 to see the Trumpeter Swans. Magness Lake is several miles outside of Heber Springs, slightly more than a 2-hour trip. Directions are easily found on Google Maps. We will start at Magness but then go to two other nearby lakes that have even more Swans.

If you are interested in photography, there is no other place in Arkansas that offers such an opportunity for "wall hanger" shots. There are a couple of nearby waterfalls that can be explored.

Due to the Covid surge, we are not offering carpooling or lunch options but Vic will talk more about this at our meeting on Thursday. Note that there are no restroom facilities at the lakes but there are various options in town. The weather forecast for HS is a high of 48' and mostly sunny with a slight chance of rain in the morning. We will cancel in the event of bad weather.
