Hard-to-find Native Plants

Audubon Arkansas will again have its Spring Native Plant Sale, with online ordering and curbside pickup.

This is a perfect opportunity to support local businesses. Pine Ridge Gardens, Grand Designs, Native Sun Nursery, Grand Prairie Nursery, Love Creek Nursery and Audubon will all have plants for sale.

What you need to know:

Online ordering will open Thursday, April 13 at 8am through Thursday, April 20 at 8pm.

Curbside pickup will be April 27 through April 29 at the Little Rock Audubon Center (4500 Springer Blvd., Little Rock, AR 72206).

Why Natives?

Arkansas’s native plants conserve water, save energy, and reduce pollutants and pesticides. Plants from other areas may not be good sources of food for our wildlife, and may require more chemicals and water to thrive, increasing maintenance time, costs and environmental hazards. Some can even become invasive.
