C4K - Recycle Computer for Kids
Bring your unwanted computers (working or not) to our March 12 or April 9 meeting to for donation to our local Computers for Kids, C4K, program. C4K rebuilds computers (laptops also) and donates them to local children and occasionally, needy families.
* When you donate a computer, the hard drive is thoroughly 'wiped' - no data is left.
* C4K will install licensed programs to current standards.
* If a computer is defective, the drive is wiped, and equipment used for parts.
* If a computer is unusable, the drive is wiped, and the computer is taken to the Hot Springs Electronics recycling center.
You can bring computers to the March/April meetings. Karen Geiger will transport to C4K.
